Europeans have cars and indoor plumbing - and even access to modern information technologies! So hello from Augsburg, Germany. I have had the pleasure of being Jerelyn´s friend from old UGA days on for almost 25 years now and keep showing up in Winterville every five years or so. The last trip in October 07, which my wife Christiane and I daringly undertook notwithstanding the manifold obstacles erected by Homeland Security, gave us the opportunity to hang out in Jerelyn´s studio, visit the Ga. Folk Festival, try locally brewed beer in Athens, and crack a few jokes about the current occuppancy of the White House on the side. If y´all could egg her and Dan on to return a visit to Germany, we would be delighted.
